Welcome to the BloomBoard video: Applying for a Micro-credential
To apply to a micro-credential, first sign-in to your BloomBoard account
After signing in you’ll be taken to your homepage
00:24 To view all the programs and rooms of which you are a member, and to apply to a micro-credential that is endorsed in one of these programs or rooms, click the Programs & Rooms tab
Select the desired program to view and apply for micro-credentials endorsed by this program.
In most programs, micro-credentials related to the program can be found on the program’s Overview tab.
Because each program is unique, each program’s Overview tab will differ slightly and have different collapsible sections.
00:55 In this program, the endorsed micro-credentials can be found in the Learn, Collaborate and Earn dropdown section.
After expanding the section, you will likely see some information about the micro-credentials along with any aligned content or collections.
Some programs may offer you choice in which micro-credential you can work on, so it’s important to read instructions closely.
If at any point you are unsure of next steps, please contact your facilitator, Program Admin or our Support Team.
Micro-credentials are identifiable as digital badges.
Select the desired micro-credential to get started with the application process.
01:34 Click Get Started to view the application page for your selected micro-credential.
After clicking Get Started you’ll see two steps.

To view submission requirements and scoring guidelines, download the PDF that can be found in this section.
Step 2 prompts you to upload your evidence.
BloomBoard accepts many file types - to view these file types click the and more link below the upload instructions.
Click Upload New File to upload your evidence.
From the upload screen you can upload files from your Computer, Google Drive or Dropbox.
If you’re uploading documents from Drive or Dropbox, please ensure that your share settings are such that anyone with the link can view the document so that the assessor has access.
02:22 Click Choose files to add files.
Select the desired files and click Upload.
Once your evidence has been uploaded you will see the files appear below Step 2.
Please keep your assessor in mind when uploading evidence - a best practice is to label your files clearly to show which files are associated with each component of your submission.
02:45 Clicking the Edit button enables you to edit the file name, add a comment, or remove the file.
Just click ‘update’ when you’re done making changes.
You can also add additional files by clicking Upload New File any time before submitting.
It is important to note that once you’ve uploaded a file, it is automatically stored in this section.
If you need to navigate away from this page for any reason, the file will be there when you return. Feel free to upload evidence as you go!
03:33 Once you’ve uploaded all evidence related to all components of the micro-credential, click Submit for Review.
Before you submit, please read the statement on this page.
Click Agree and Submit to complete the application process.
Please note that once you click Agree and Submit you will not be able to upload any additional files until your submission has been reviewed by an assessor.
Once you click Agree and Submit you will see a Thank you for your submission page.
You should also get an email confirmation of your submission.
04:00 Applications are reviewed within 14 days.
Once your application is reviewed, you will receive an email notification with your status.
